A handsome, yellow gold wristwatch with center seconds, date, and original box and papers. Circa 1960s.

Case: Yellow gold with brushed and polished surfaces. Closed case back engraved with "25 años de lealtad y profesionalismo - DPHYS - J del H.” Lug width: 18mm.

Bracelet: Original, black leather straps with Omega signature and original, yellow gold Omega pin buckle.

Dial: Silvered dial with yellow gold baton markers for the hours. Center seconds. Date at three o’clock.

Movement: Omega caliber 564 automatic movement.

Diameter: 35mm. Thickness: 10mm.

Condition: Original box and papers. Gifted and never worn.

The Constellation was introduced in 1952, the name was taken from Astronomy but also from the popular civilian aircraft of the early 1950s. The model was introduced in Steel, rose and yellow gold with different level of finishing and was the top end of Omega watches.
